EVENING CLASS

If you cannot make the above times please feel free to contact us to discuss your requirements.

Please note if you require this course commercially then the exams need to be invidulated by an RYA instructor.  There normally would be an extra charge for this.

The RYA Day Skipper Theory is a comprehensive introduction to cruising for inexperienced skippers.
This course equips you with enough knowledge to navigate around familiar waters by day. A basic knowledge of lights is also included to introduce you to night cruising.

At Jolly Roger Sailing we use the RYA training materials and try to integrate your lessons with real charts and almanacs so that you get a feel for the equipment you will be using on your own boat.

The course is normally taught by our principal instructor who has over 50,000 miles sailing offshore, including Atlantic crossings.

The course duration is a total of 40 hours with two exam papers.

Any discounts are based on a Min of 4 Participants
