About the Course

The RYA Yachtmaster & Coastal Theory Course provides advanced training for experienced skippers looking to expand their skills beyond Day Skipper level. It focuses on advanced navigation, meteorology, and safe offshore passage planning, giving you the confidence to navigate accurately and predict conditions with authority.

Course Format

• 40 hours of training

• 3 exam papers

• Delivered over 6 days (or split into shorter blocks)

• Flexible scheduling — we’ll discuss your needs

• Recommended before taking the Yachtmaster Practical Exam
